Originally bought as a secondary monitor and now use it as the primary due to its superiority. The 2ms response time is great for gaming and the screen's color ratio makes it great for photos and movies as well. Has an incredibly wide viewing angle and a nice subtle red tint to the bezel and stand. This is barely noticeable and adds a nice touch of style without being distracting. Found this on sale for a little over $200 and never regretted it. Spectacular monitor.
Problems: The touch sensitive menu buttons can be unresponsive at times. Not sure if it is my particular unit but the buttons have problems registering your finger when touching it any normal way. You occasionally have to try different angles and areas with your finger to scroll through the menus and then after a few presses, they don't register at all. This you may only have a problem with once, after you set it to your liking upon receiving the monitor you will most likely never have to set it again.
I have heard complaints that the monitor will not shut down to a sleep mode when the source is turned off. It will constantly search for a signal in either digital or analog. This is true and not true. You have to turn off the automatic setting and switch to manual. Not hard at all, in fact there is a button for it to the left of the power button. Touch it once and you'll never have this problem. You can also go into the menu and set it to manual too if you prefer.
Also the stand may seem too wobbly to some. If you do not have a solid, sturdy desk and tend to bump your knees or other body parts against it, the monitor will sway. My desk is quite sturdy and built solid so I never experience it.
